Presonus Firebox Question

hi everyone,

ive been using the presonus for a while but almost every gig i get a “crackling” sound that makes the music sound “staticy” when i turn the volume down on the presonus it takes about 5-20 seconds to go away and then i can turn it back up again and it may or may not come back sometimes. it can happen on different sound systems. i mix externally and i have a djm 500 (great condition) and i use a novation remote 25sl. i have a macbook with plenty of speed so im sure its not the computer thats the issue. i run traktor pro through ableton using jackpilot

I have had this same problem with mine. When I turn the volume pot I get a crackling noise. It only happens while turning the volume pot, I rarely touch that knob as I am always producing at the same level. I ts usually in my mixdown process where i am moving that knob. Sorry I couldn’t be of any help. I googled it with no luck.
