Problem with X1
Just picked up an x1 from a friend. I tested it and everything functioned perfectly. Just set it up and I noticed the FX1 button at the top left corner isn’t lit/doesn’t work. Also, on the right hand side, second button down, the “1” button doesn’t stay on when pressed. Help!
Contacts must be dirty somehow. Someone here had a guide on how to open up the X1.
I restarted Traktor to make sure all the buttons lit up and they did. Maybe it’s a mapping issue?

Fixed it. It was a setting in the FX section of preferences.
BTW, anyone know how to adjust BPM moderately in Traktor? When I select the + or -, it jumps like 10-15 BPM.
You can adjust the sensitivity in your settings under Transport.
mine does the same thing if you choose multiple effects. The buttons work like their suppose to in single effect mode. I guess their isn’t a point in activating DRY/WET lol
There’s no On/Off button available when the FX bank is in Group mode.
Not all FX button functions are toggle type. Some perform a specific action if the button is pressed e.g. reset the other parameters.

Change resolution of tempo adjust commands in manager. Sounds like it’s currently set to default.
You can also change the Tempo Range in Transport settings if you don’t want to modify the mapping.
Another thing I noticed last night that I will mess with again when I get home today and is that even though I have all my cables plugged in correctly, when I select my Output settings I have to select Output Channel 1 - 3 and 4, Output Channel 2 - 1 and 2. Not sure if I’m making sense. I’m just pretty sure it should be 1 and 2/3 and 4.
The CDJs in your aggregate device can easily get switched around. I think it depends on what order you turn them on and connect them to the computer, but either way it doesn’t matter as long as the right sound goes to the right channel.

I actually traded the DB2 for a xone 92, x1 with case, and audio 8.

Anyone know how to cue on the x1 (if possible)?
There’s a Cue button in the Transport section. Headphone cueing should be handled by your mixer.
