Problems with the mapping of vestax typhoon in traktor pro 1.2.5
Hi,
I upgraded from LE to pro 1.2.5 and now the Jog wheels don’t work. they only slow down or make the song faster it’s not set as the pitch function). I’ve tried to modify it in the wheels but I cant seem to do that. Also when you touch the wheel normaly the music stops. Now it just keeps on playing. I’ve also tried to install other maps but the problem stays the same or the music even starts krakking.
is your pc processor in the core ix technology? I just read that typhoon supports Intel Core Duo, but does not support Intel Core i series, Intel Celeron, Atom and AMD CPU.
It sounds like the behaviour you want is Scratch mode, where touching the platter stops the track and moving it while touching it moves the track (scratches).
Look through the map you’re using, is there a ‘Scratch On’ or ‘Scratch’ function mapped? It might be controlled by a modifier. Is there a ‘Jog Scratch + Tempo Bend’ function mapped? That’s the CDJ style bend you say you have, just swap one out for the other or better still make a modifier toggle to switch between the 2 modes.
