hobnox is awesome for noodling around during spare time at work, but i can’t see myself ever completing a tune from the tools… i’ll stick to the tools in my studio…

Seems like reason lite with a junky interface, imo.
Neat to fool around with though, I will admit.
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that get the best responses. The fact that you can’t play a note out of the scale makes any pattern sound pleasant.
You can get a decent groove going none the less. Hell, you could do all your song writing in here and then move on to a much more sophisticated DAW.
I’m all for simplifying things to make them more accessible to more people.

A co-worker pointed me at this a while ago. Seems quite neat from playing with it briefly, but at least when I tried, it did not let you save your setup, which is quite painful.
