would be pretty awesome to have a truly standalone MPC with a big ass screen

NS7ii screens looks great as well, guess Numark needed to find a way to make it the biggest controller again given the sz lol

windows 8 embedded tho? have they rewritten the OS to make it handle real time audio better? wouldn’t be my preference for running SDJ…

Windows 8 does handle audio differently than previous Windows series, but it’s not documented very well from what I’ve briefly looked at. It handles it just as well as any previous Windows version though, if not better. I use Traktor on my Windows 8 laptop and after a few updates on both sides (Traktor and Windows) it worked fine.
