Pulled the PL1's back out!

Pulled the PL1’s back out!

Damn they look dope.

Almost completed setup. Gonna pick up a pair of XDJ1000’s this month for home use and Ill be done.

Nice looking setup.

I’m looking at getting the MM1 soon to replace my old mixer. What’s it like to use? so far I have only looked at the pictures on google, are the controls very close together?

It’s pretty comfortable. I dig it.

I’ve just ordered one

The PL1’s and LC1 are for sale. Picked up a pair of X1 MK2’s with stands for $150 today!

Nice! I wish Traktor would come out with a 4 channel mixer… That would make the dual X1 configuration even better.

Right. The day they come out with a Z4 will be the happiest day of my life!

Nice setup, Very similar to mine now

Thanks for the recommendation of the MM-1 I really like it. Although I have to agree NI releasing a 4 channel mixer would be better

I’m interested to know how you’ve mapped it. From the looks of the writing on the mixer you have created a custom mapping.

So far with mine I took the standard behringer map. Removed the trim/gain knobs, set traktor to use xone EQ and mapped the 4 knobs for each channel to High, High Mid, Low Mid & Low. Giving me a cheap alternative to a xone 92.

Your mapping seems to take this further and have effects as well. Have you added a shift layer for the effects control?

The center square button is a shift button.

Shift+ cue turns filter on
From top to bottom [Shift]
Knob1: High [Gain]
Knob2: Mid [Flanger]
Knob3: Low [Reverb]
Knob4: Filter [Volume Fader]
button1: CF Assign Left [Flanger on]
BUtton2: CF Assign Right [Reverb On]

Volume faders and Crossfader work as normal.

Cool stuff man  Love all the blinking lights
