Question about midi fighter with another controller…

Hey guys!

I’m currently working on my own ZOMO MC-1000 mapping with smart knobs
I’m thinking of adding a midi fighter to my setup and I’m working my mapping accordingly
but I have a 2 questions regarding the midi fighter mapping?!?!?

1)I took a quick look and I think I’m OK but wanna make sure everything is alright
The default midi fighter FX unit modes are FX1-2-3 group and 4-single
In the mapping there’s 16 mode selector commands…So I think that regardless of what I select in my ZOMO mapping they will switch to the right mode at the press of a button on the midi fighter? RIGHT?

2)In the midi fighter mapping, “RESTORE PARAMETERS AFTER WHEN SWITCHING FX” is checked
If I uncheck it…wil the mapping will still work properly

  1. Each button has Unit mode selector command mapped to it so the answer is yes.

  2. It will. This option sets effect parameter to it’s default value but if you have knob value mapped for buttons/knobs you’re good to go.

Thanks for your reply…I’m probalby good but I have a problem with smart knobs so I will start a new thread specific to this problem as I can’t find my answer…
