quick fire samples in live?

ok this might be a stupid Q but is there away to make samples quickfire?

so sayi have a track playing and to the right is aload of one word samples i just wanna press a button and BAM it goes out

as all i can get is the little play arrow flashing and it drops the sample on the next in time beat

so say if i press the sample to trigger on the 3rd bar it will just flash then play at the start of the first bar if this makes sense to anyone and someone can help much love

You can either turn the quantization off (select “None” from the drop-down left to the pencil tool on top of Lives window) or just load samples you need into the drum rack and play them.

i have a drum rack set up that i use with the midifighter =D
