I’m not a pro, just learning like you but the transition from track 1 to 2 sounded weird, either its the volume dropping too much or it’s just a shitty MP3 file that you got
yea I was limited on time so I wanted to make it quick but Im gonna try to dedicate maybe an hour to making a mix asap because I have nothing to do really for the next few days
I know, and oddly enough they all are pulling from the same artist pool it seems and that’s the issue I’m getting at.
Why should I listen to mix Tom, Dick and Harry together when I can go listen to some one else mix Tom, Dick and Harry? Not going to get anywhere at that rate.
NOW, if he or some one else came on and said “I really like tunes by Tom, Dick and Harry and like that style but instead of playing those guys like everyone else I really spent time digging deep and seeing who’s not getting the recognition out there that they should and decided to make mix out there tunes” THEN I would be curious to hear what he has.
That shows me that he has a real genuine interest in what he likes and really put forth the time and effort to make an original mix instead of being lazy and just picking all the big names.
I can tell just from looking at the wavform that your levels are all over the place mate. Also, try and use the highest quality tracks you can e.g dont play a 320 mp3 before or after a 192 mp3. Keep at it its only going to get easier
