I’m constantly amazed at how many people send me tracks for mastering and they never even bothered to listen to the mixdown render they created to make sure there’s no errors. I’ve heard everything from the end of the song being cut off, to entire tracks that were muted accidentally before the export.
Hi T, yes is it exceptionally common. It is good practice for people to have a listen through with a different focus, checking for glitches that are all too common with complex DAW’s and copious software plug ins.
