Rane and Serato announce SL3

Fair enough. Good catch.

So far I am happy with the new SL3. Like the aux in and how easy to run regular vinyl (thru) with out the xtra rca connections.

the Sl1 had rca connections too..

Keep your Sl-1 if you don¡t need 4 decks.

I know what I’m saying.

I am lost ..where does it say that the SL-3 gives 4 decks? I see 2 and a “possible” 3rd virtual deck for the future..and for now it would be : 2 decks and a non-pitch controllable sampler aux out.

3 inputs and one virtual inside new Serato 2.0 (and ITCH support for SL-3) &/or Ableton Live ITCH integration for NS7 and VCi & SSL integration for SL-1, SL-2 (TTM57SL) and SL-3.

In near future you will see:
SL-1 for 2 decks.
SL-2 & 3 for 3+1 decks.
SLs and ITCH + Ableton Live for infinite decks.

It’s a matter of time.

Keep your SL-1.

SW3= 2 decks + 1 virtual deck(future) where do you count 3+1 decks??
Hmm..Also, Where do you get all this great news? Is is fact or fiction?

..Anyone know if the SL3 can be used as a soundcard / ASIO this time around on Mac OSX? SL1 was only good as an ASIO on PC.

SL-3 = 3 inputs (decks) + 1 virtual (your computer)
I’m just wondering… Do you imagine if I “catch the wave”?

SL-3 will have ASIO and Core Audio Drivers. Check the FAQs and Press.
The pieces are out there. It is just plug them.

I did not know the SL3 had 3 inputs via TT, I thought 2 and a aux input, which I was not assured had the phono ability for another deck, but for Live Feed, etc..etc.

. We will see,

RIIA conversor or CDJ (but I think it could be phono preamp or anything better making it useless)

question to owners of the SL3:

since (i guess) there are no official asio drivers, is it possible to use the outputs of the SL-3 with two applications at the same time?

eg. using the two main outputs for two music channels (either traktor or serato), and teh AUX output for a standalone sampler (i use NI battery) for some additional SFX?
i dont see me using the internal serato sampler, as it only has 6 slots, no fx etc etc.

but somehow i feel like this wont work. i’m not sure if eg. my m-audio interface allows me to split the ASIO output between two programs at teh same time…

maybe if i use the 4 main out via ASIO and the AUX via a directx driver? this way it works on my m-audio.

any ideas/experience?
