Rane MP2015 case?
Anyone have any insight on a case that will fit the MP2015? I’ve seen the images of that custom one floating around, but I’m looking for something more mass produced (and I’d think in turn, less expensive), and one which will fit the mixer with the panels on the sides without needing to remove them.

You could get a Pelican case and pluck the foam according to what you want.
I do agree though, if you bought a Rane MP2015… don’t cheap out on the case if it’s getting transported often!

I’m not really a fan of that one. Really trying to go with something a bit more traditional for flight cases. Beggars can’t be choosers, but thankfully, I think I’ve got a little while to find something.

You can remove the inserts to make it fit. It actually fits without taking off the wood sides. The only issue is the front opening does not allow use of the headphone jacks on the front…so if you don’t mind plugging in the top it’s ok.
Pretty solid case though.
Why not get a bag like from Magma that can fit it. Much more portable and just as safe. I reviewed (and kept) the Magma Riot XL and it’s like a TARDIS.

It was a joke. Meaning I’m jealous that you have that amazing mixer. And your issue finding a case is minute.

Sounds like a winner. I’ve been doing research, but it seemed a little small. Now I’m thinking my old case for my pioneer might just work. If not, pretty sure I’ll grab one of these. Thanks!
It actually fits perfect. You have to swap out the foam inserts to get the right fit. I gig with my 2015 a lot now…it’s pretty solid.
As I mentioned, the only downfall is you lose the front headphone jacks. It’s not a big deal if you only need one 1/4" jack though.
If your old case was for a Nexus it may fit too. I’d try that first before you buy. This one is designed for 12" mixers too
Not a nexus, but an 800. I would keep it, but I’ve got serious lust for that 2015. That, and I really want to move on. I love my 800, but I’ve grown out of using all the effects, and while I installed the rotaries and love them, the action on them could be better IMO. plus… HOLY GOD DAMN ISOLATOR!!! lol.
The MP-2015 isn’t any bigger with the wood panels on than a DJM. Standard mixer case should work.
Actually, the Rane is SLIGHTLY larger, but it’s by fractions of an inch. Regardless, that small increment can be enough to be the difference in being able to use a case, and not.
