Recording Automation with midi.
I hit the global record button, ovderdub and turn knobs, it all looks fine, however, seemingly at random points during the clip it the “back to arrangement” button switch on and the automation is deactivated. I turned off my midi controller and everything, and still it’s happening even if I dont even have a session view clip on that track. What is up here?
Do you mean the usually red atuomation lines, have turned brown?
If so click at the top, next to the record/play buttons, on the icon that has an arrow, inside a box (the arrow is pointing left).
Yeah but if I do that the next time I play that clip it will turn brown again during playback, if I click the button it goes away again. It’s really strange :S
hmmm I’m at work so can’t check this myself, however maybe what you could do is save it after you have pressed the arrow icon ?(sorry i’m crap with remembering names of things when i’m away from the software)
or when you have returned it to ‘red’ you hit record for a second so it saves it in it’s l;ast state?
Like i say I’m at work, but it will most likely be an easy fix, so can take a look when i’m hme this evening.
Yeah I just found the solution, something that was turned on in my midi settings was appearantly causing the problem. Thanks anyway though!
