Recording from Soundcloud into Ableton.
I have an acapella in Soundcloud that i NEED. (Producer’s need = you know how it is). Download link not available. Is it possible to record it into abletunes.

i dont know if this will work but i read something about routing your soundcard as an interface with a program and using it to record like that in audacity. ill try to find a link
few good suggestions here:
It’s easily done but the quality might be less than desirable for a production work.
like smitten said, easily done, just run a lean from your headphone out on your laptop/computer to an input on your soundcard and record, but again like he said, quality may not be up to much

Audio Hijack Pro (pay) is wicked. Think you can get a bundle with Fission (also good software)
But ripping solution ^^ is probs better
The quality will not be great. But it will be a little better running out of a usb soundcard than the headphone out. one like this

I use that soundcard into a digital recorder & it’s good enough to use most of the time. A acapella will sound better than a track with beats.

There are a dozen ways to do this and if you’re too lazy to figure any of them out, you don’t deserve to steal the artist’s material.
