Refurbished Gear
So would you or would you not buy manufacturer refurbished gear.
I think I would just wanted to see how others feel about it
I wanted to know how you guys feel I found a deal on xone dx’s that are manufactured refurbed for 499 what do you think should I do it
I thought the DX’s were brand new at $499. I buy refurb apple stuff all the time.
EDIT: Never mind, I thought they had a pretty big price drop recently.

if its certified refurbed from the company then I would. I bought my DJM 700 refurbed from Pioneer for a crazy deal and it was worth it. 499 for my mixer and it works perfect to this day.
So long as its got the full warranty and no defects I’d buy factory refurb over “new stock” anyday.
Reason: Refurbs have in most cases been put though much more rigorous testing and for a longer time period than brand new items, ANYTHING that could be faulty been swapped out, tested and re-tested.
My last 4 Macs have been refurbs
Make sure you get the same warranty as a new one and you are set, save money and your gear is ‘pre-worn.’
Levi’s charge more for that 
Certified refurb/factory restock/whatever stuff is fine in my book. Never had an issue with anything I’ve bought with such a label.
definately, besides if anything goes wrong out of warranty i have house insurance 
Bought my VCI-300 as refurb two years ago. Never failed me once since then.
One on eBay cheaper - $449 free shipping to US, or make offer - might get it for $400
I buy and use refurb gear all the time.
What I don’t buy are “open box” items from the likes of GC.
My X1 Was refurbed by a company somewhere, came with a 6 month warranty, best £100 ive ever spent in my life

The headphone cueing ribbon cable fell of inside.
The crossfader recently stopped working.
and hes had another problem with the master outputs.
this has all been over a year since he bought it, nothing but problems
