Regarding my future setup. /Seeking Advice

Hi!

I’ve been recently looking to start building a DVS-Setup with a Traktor A6. (Bought one really cheap in China)

The mixer I’ve been looking at is the Reloop 22i Mixer. Read some reviews and it seems quite alright for the price.

What I’m not so sure about is the Turntables I’ve been looking at. The America Audio TTD 2400’s, I’m wondering if there is anyone here who owned or tried them out and if they are suitable for a beginner like myself. Also, will all of this work out as a DVS setup? Did I miss anything, or anything else I should think about?

Note: I am not interested in Technics at the moment, since my budget can not handle it.

Thanks for reading

I can’t comment on the TTD 2400’s as my life with vinyl continues to be Technics based, however I can tell you that if you got the Audio 6 then you will need Tracktor Scratch Pro and some time code vinyls for DVS (if they didn’t already come with the A6). Other than that you’re good to go. The key to a DVS setup is the sound card and software to enable vinyl emulation, or as they like to call it “scratch control”.

why not buy one technics to start with?

ah yes, they gave that to me for free  so I have the program, also have the normal Traktor Pro 2!
But I have to use the Traktor Scratch Pro or otherwise it will not work?

The clubs that I am aiming for to play at usually have these, and they usually tell you: “Just bring your needles”
Thats why I thought I just wanted to get used to the idea of using vinyls and the quality of the ones I want to buy, will never leave my home

I totally agree with you, but I try to thread carefully about this subject with people who prefer the Technics over everything else, I don’t want to hurt anyones feelings /haha
