Reloop terminal 2

Reloop terminal 2

can anyone tell me if this is asio4all compliant like the hercules controllers as i dont wanna throw me money away otherwise

I’ve never heard of any cards not being ASIO4ALL compatible. Even if it wasn’t, what’s wrong with the official drivers?

asio4all is just an emulator for non asio soundcards to run a little faster. If you mean does the TM2 have an asio card? then yes it does, but it’s 16bit not 24bit like the RMX2, this equates to not much as they should sound about the same without trained ears. The difference between the two is 16bit maxes out at a frequency of 48000Hz, while 24bit can reach 96000Hz, but there is no real point in going that high as your ears can only hear up to about 20000Hz when your young and only deteriorates the older you get.

The Reloop would be a much better buy IMO.

Er- pretty sure 44.1khz, 48khz and 96khz are not referring to frequency range but sample rate.

edit: I think it’s unrelated to bit depth as well. Bit depth is to do with dynamic range maybe? I dunno. I really should read up on this stuff :stuck_out_tongue:

maybe I should read up on it as well! I heard that from a guy I know’s, friends horse.
