Remap buttons on MF3D

Is it possible to remap the buttons to send different midi notes? I would disable the midi notes the bank switch buttons and change the button layouts on each bank, that the first button (left bottom) always starts with midi note C.

Is it possible to create custom firmwares for mf3d, too? I found the source for the midifighter, but i’m sure its not compatible with mf3d. Maybe i’m wrong.

Custom firmware from DJTT isn’t possible. Hacking it yourself probably is. Just don’t ask me how, I haven’t a clue.
You can always just not map the bank switch buttons so they do nothing if you are creating your own mapping.
