remapping the S4 sample buttons
hi,
Does somebody know how to remap the sample slot buttons on the traktor s4 to make them controlling e.g. the beatmasher fx like on the DDJ-Sx.
i think there you can use the buttons under the jog-wheel for sth like that.(but i’m not sure)

That would require some mapping background. You can find all the parameters in ultimate FX thread under Instant Grat.
Don’t forget to delete all the sample commands before starting to add.

Okk…so it’s maybe not the best thing to start with when i’m new in (re)mapping.
Is there maybe any mapping with this functions out there?

Wish I had it a few years ago… If I have stashed some cash to get one now I’d probably wait to see the MKII but again, I’d use it just for mappings.
Would rather go for Livid quality and custom modular setup 
I was just asking for a little assistance here from somebody who actually own an S4 and also willing to invest some time in this mapping and also like the idea of it. I could share some tips if necessary.

I think I might actually expand on this mapping. Use shift + Sample buttons to change a modifier to have access to more instant fun.
You can place each button row from IG effects in three banks and use fourth bank for the samples.
Clever.
Off course, you wouldn’t be able to unload the samples via shift but at least all triggers would be there.
