Remove scuffs
Hello!
Does anybody know how can i remove these scuffs before i set up a skin on my kontrol s4 ?

(note: only buffs,superficial scratches)
It’s hard to tell, but maybe a magic eraser?
If its anything like correcting paint on a car, if you can drag your nail across it and it sticks the chances are it wont come out..
the scratches are superficial;can be seen only in very bright light.i was thinking at car buffer:-?.
these scratcheses were made in 2hrs of usage. i’m convinced that more than 90%of users have them ,but never taught to search. i’m a very prudent guy in using my gear,taken care of it every second.
cut your fingernails maybe ? try using a car buffer?
I don’t have them and I think you’re in the minority. Try the kits for clearing up foggy headlights.
Wow… I’ve had my S4 for several months, and don’t have any scratches like that. You must have some gnarly fingernails! Best bet is to find some plastic polish. I know a company called Novus makes some… it has just enough grit to polish away fine scratches. Some people say that toothpaste does the trick too.
haha u’ll be surprised how i treat all my gear. that plastic was never touched by fingernails , it’s only the finger that grabs the button from the lower part of it.
i really can’t figure it out why NI used that shitty acrylic under the buttons , knowing that the area will be exploited in various conditions( dust,diverse weather conditions,club environment ect )

the unit itself has max 20 hours of usage,at my place.
My unit has max 100 hours usage and nothing like that. You should pre cut a circle in the skin so it’s easier to replace that one small part. Maybe you can order a small strip of vinyl to match.

any ideas ?
Try the headlight cleaning kits or paint repair kits. All of those require some type of lube be sprayed on while your sanding so the chances of liquid getting into the S4 are high given the location. I think because of that I would just live with the scratches if it were me.
headlight restorer might be a little too abrasive…

True, I’ve used it on motorcycle windshield with good results, but it would probably dull glossy black.
