Richie Hawtin EV-5 Expression Pedal

Hey DJTT Community,

Does anyone have any further info on how Richie Hawtin uses the Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal?

I’m curious to find out what parameters he controls with this, and whether its to control something within Traktor or Live, or an external effect.

He controls the PSP42 tape delay plugin on a return channel in Ableton. Probably the ‘manual X1’ parameter.It’s a similar effect to the Boss DD-7 digital delay pedal’s D.TIME knob.

EDIT: actually, it’s the feedback parameter he maps.
