i think you may be in external mixer mode. check your preferences, under output routing, you should have internal mode highlighted. if not that im not too sure
I thought the problem had some how corrected itself, but not so. I’m having trouble again today. I’ve even reinstalled Traktor 3, tried a new cable. No luck.
I’m able to use the VCI-100SE on my laptop with Traktor 3.
you might try using something like midipipe (or a windows analogue if you must) to see the message stream from the SE – might be able to quickly identify if it is a hardware or software (traktor or mapping) issue.
No, the problem was occurring in Traktor 3.4 not PRO. Never had PRO on the desktop till I did the following.
Reverted back to a clean install by using the image I made of the hard drive from last year. I updated all the drivers, installed Traktor Pro 1.1 and all is well on the desktop using Traktor PRO and VCI-100SE. Yeah!
I haven’t tried to install Traktor Pro on to the laptop since it is about 4yrs old and only has 512mb ram (even though Traktor 3 works under these conditions).
Seems I am good at the moment. Thanks for all the help.
