Running TSP2 with scratch control AND midi controller

Hi guys,
I am running traktor scratch pro 2 using 2 cdjs and NI’s maschine.
I have done my own midi mapping and it works great. One problem
I am having is i can NOT run both at the same time. I hook up everything,
but traktor won’t play the cdjs. if i check the settings, i clearly see that
when i press play and stop on the cdj, the software can see that its getting signal, but it just doesnt do anything on the software…any help?

are the decks calibrated?

Check the playback mode is set to scratch control and not internal. Also check the play button isn’t lit.

yeah i already had set decks A & B to scratch control, and the play button was grey. i’m so lost i can’t get it to work
