Im long over due for upgrading my controller, and since i landed a new job I can probably do so soon.
I play tech house and techno.
I dont see myself using 4 Track decks, rather 2 track decks and 2 sample decks
I will probaby keep my X1 on the side of whichever controller.
Other then the DVS issue, is there anything about the S4 that i might want to consider spending the extra few bucks on, rather then the S2?
Im not much of a mapper, other then uploading other peoples.
I have the S2, and the one negative I would say about the sample tracks is you have to engage them since they share the same buttons as the cue points, where the S4 has independent sample and cue points, and double the capability (shift+button).
I like the S2 a lot, but I am almost wishing I had the S4 for some more complex arrangements.
The S4 has a filter know , trust me , its so nice to have lol S2 you need to have a custom mapping and with that , if I’m correct, you lose the HID support too when you change the mapping
