**s4 and mic input: i need some clarifications**

I want to use a mic with my s4 (never tried till now 👀), so i just put my PC mic (wich ofc is not the one i will use in a club enviroment, but it works for a try 😛) and turned mic vol up…
no audio out from it 😞
tried to move the gain and the mic volume… nada…

there is something i’m missing?
i’ve checked the options in traktor, and seems ok to me 😕

I will buy a decent mic and an adaptator from 6.3mm to stereo RCA to use it as live input and to put effects on it, but i wanted to try out how it works fist, without the risk of spending my money worthlessly 🙂

Will it work if you connect to to the deck D input and then change deck D to live input? You need to set the switches on the back to Line and thru if you want to do this. Maybe post a screen shot of your input preferences so we can see if something’s off.

i tried with usb and thru, nothing changes.
deck D volume fader to full
input gain, mic gain and mic vol to full
deck D set to live input, input 3 and 4 set to deck D.

The mic is plugged in the 6.3mm dedicated slot behind the s4, wich is in the “deck D zone”

i’ve just bought a prodipe TT1, works just fine 😉
i can confirm: the PC mic input level was waaaaaay too low, and even with gains set to max, the s4 was unable to hear any sound 😛
