s4 and X1

i know there is a millllion different threads on this but I am looking for the general view on the plus(or/and negative) of using the x1 with the s4 or is it more so a matter of having more room to work with.

X1 is great add on to the S4 to control FX banks 3 and 4 and the volume and filter for each individual sample slot. There’s a few good X1 mappings made to go along with the S4 on http://www.traktorbible.com
