S4 Audio in Question

Do you know if the mic in / audio in on the S4’s sound card will support input from a synth or other instruments?

I’m trying to figure out if I’ll need an additional sound card if I get this thing (and I’m hoping I wouldn’t so that I can justify the expense). :stuck_out_tongue:

You can assign it to a deck then set the deck to Audio thru mode, then it will play whatever you plug into it.

Yes but I think the OP is searching for a way to not sacrifice a deck for a synth.
