Just ordered one last night too!! I’ve been lurking around here for a bit reading posts going back and forth whether or not to buy one and just went for it.. there’s a bunch of people who say they have issues but I figure there’s many more who aren’t who are enjoying it and too busy to post.
Figured since I was spending that much money already I went for overnight shipping through Amazon so I’ll have it tomorrow.

Yeah people are having issues but most can be ironed out and for the most part, most people are not having issues.
Yea, I’ve spent the morning getting rid of/uninstalling a lot of junk on my laptop. I have the expectation I’ll have some work to do to get it working well. Seems like some expect a perfect operation out of the box.

there are many posts on how to tweek your system on here.
so your in good hands. if you do happen to have any issues either from software/hardware or even human error your more than likely get a helpful responce pretty quickly
and i dont just mean responces like BUY A MAC (lol) but ya do get a few of them too 
I’m running an HP laptop with an AMD x2 dual core 2.1ghz w/ 4gb ram running Vista Home Premium 64bit. I’ve been reading through the different “preparation” threads. I regret telling my kid we’d go out of town for a hockey game tomorrow, the poor s4 is going to be sitting in a box the whole day.
I’ll get to “rtfm” later.. opened the box.. installed Traktor.. hooked up the s4.. plugged in some rca cables and started playing some music, sampling, looping, etc… This thing kicks ass!!!
There’s the usual issues I’ve read about but I know it’s my computer and me not setting everything up proper, time to start working on those things. Wanted to have some basic fun first.
Oh and it’s funny how many people suddenly want to hang out! lol
I bought mine used here in the buy/sell forum and man, I CANT WAIT. Im like refreshing the USPS tracking number twice a day. I even managed to find the cash and buy some monitors with a sub off Ebay. Also the 3.5mm to 1/4 converter arrived, tomorrow the monitors ETA and Friday the S4 ETA and a weekend of sampled EDM will take place
Lets just hope everything get here on time and safely!!
