S4 mapping filter STILL not working.
Hi guys,
I’ve gone through the entire S4 mapping thread, post by post, and I still do not see the fix for the filters.
Only thing I found suggested was to update to the latest version of Traktor, which I did, and no fix.
The filters simply won’t turn on. This is absolutely devastating for me as the filter is one of the ONLY feature I can not live without.
Please send a brother some help.

Sorry, no, the DJTT S4 mapping that was release last month.
Forum members (or staff), please, is there a fix for it? These bug fixes should be sticky’d and locked to the beginning on the thread. I went through 14 pages in the current stick’d page and couldn’t find the fix.
Easy: there’s no fix as there’s no bug here. The knobs can’t be mapped as buttons in Hid mode so you just click on your computer to let them on all the time. Problem solved. Especially considering there’s no on/off buttons on the s4 anyway.
was just about to post that same answer!! make sure they are turned on in the eq section in the software.

Any ideas about the loop encoders? (very secondary, but very valuable in the nick of time)
that “fix” was mentioned on the first pages of the s4 djtt map thread btw.
what is your encoder issue? (if you mean the loop displays, they only work with the default map)

Yeah, the loop encoder. A bit of a shame, but a very reasonable price to pay for the work these boys have put into it.

Not being able to map in hid the loop lenght display, well ok, it’s annoying but I can live with it. What really frustrates me is not being able to map faders and knobs to act as buttons for functions. It p%%£££ me off. Really.
