Mapping Details.
- The panels show the S4 control assignments. Anything that says ‘Factory Function’ has not been overridden.
INTENT
- Create the S4 mapping i always wanted that has all the basic functions like the factory mapping plus all the stuff i don’t want to use the mouse for.
HISTORY
- This mapping is based on the DJTechTools S4 Mapping by Beaubryte. I used the factory mapping as it’s foundationso i could keep a couple of factory-mapping-only functions of the S4, mainly the Loop Size LED, the Loop Recorder Delete/Undo functions, the LoopIn/Out Cue adjustments with the Jog Wheel as well as the excellent COPY-MODE, which wasn’t possible within the limited variables and conditions provided by the programming environment. I’ve been tinkering with the S4 and Traktor for a year now and poured all of my discoveries into this mapping.
I hope you find it useful, either for pimping your S4 or as a treasure trove for mapping solutions.
