s4 MK1 fx mapping swap!
Looking to switch the standard function of fx1 to control fx3 (group setting) and fx2 to control fx4 (group setting) without having to switch to decks c and d! Helppp!!
Do you use a default or an user mapping? Depending on which one do you use there will be different approach to making those desirable changes in the mapping.
Standard Mapping!
Ok - cool. In that case you will need to add new commands for those FX units and than have them set to override factory map.
Once you open the Controller Manager and look in to the default mapping file you’ll notice that the list is empty. That is because all the mapping commands are invisible or under the hood.

To make those changes to default map, you should start with adding this commands:
Add In > FX Unit > Dry/Wet / type=fader / interaction=direct
Add In > FX Unit > Knob 1 / type=fader / interaction=direct
Add In > FX Unit > Knob 2 / type=fader / interaction=direct
Add In > FX Unit > Knob 3 / type=fader / interaction=direct
Add In > FX Unit > Button 1 / type=button / interaction=toggle
Add In > FX Unit > Button 2 / type=button / interaction=toggle
Add In > FX Unit > Button 3 / type=button / interaction=toggle
(assign all commands to FX Unit 3 and then add another set of these and assign new entries but this time set them to your FX Unit #4)
