S4 w. Logitech Speakers Buzzing?

S4 w. Logitech Speakers Buzzing?

Hi everyone, i noticed a little problem with my speakers/S4 today. When i turn my speakers up to maximum, so that i can control the volume with the S4 master, i get a lot of buzzing. When they are turned up to maximum and NOT connected, there’s nothing. I got a pair of Logitech z2300, connected with a minijack 3.5, to a jack 3.5 to RCA adaptor, and then to the S4. I don’t know if it’s because they aren’t simply meant to DJ with, or if they are just crap, but i hope some of you can help

I wouldn’t recommend DJing with them, but there shouldn’t be too much noise. Although adapters do apparently add noise. And seeing as there’s a long route between your S4 and the speakers, it makes me think this might be the problem.

Alright thanks for your answer. So i actually can’t do anything, other than getting a new pair of speakers? If so, can you or anyone else recommend a good speaker system, for DJ’ing at smaller parties and at home, for about 1200$ or less?

I’ve been considering these: http://www.thomann.de/gb/ld_systems_dave_15_g2.htm Can you tell me, if these are able to get the job done?

I suppose it depends on whether you’re looking for monitor speakers or party speakers.

Party speakers, for parties with a maximum of 150-200 people  But I’ve looked around some more, and I’m considering to buy this set instead: http://www.thomann.de/dk/mackie_thump_th_15a_bundle.htm

For 200 people I doubt the volume from 2 thumps is going to impress anyone. 100 people yes, but in a room big enough for 200 you’re going to want more than 2 tops IMO.

Could you recommend any complete sets, that could impress 200 people then?
