I am currently using an s4 with 4 fx units but I cant get the fx select buttons on s4 to work qs if they were on 2 fx units. Only way I cqn get it to work is by importing dj techtools instant grat mapping, then import my mapping for my launchpad effects, then delete instant grat mqpping. I can’t find any preferences to do this.
Well thanks for the reply but if I do it my way I get led feedback, I just cant work out how its done! Must be through the preferences some how just can’t figure it out! I had made my own .tsi but can’t get get led feedback.
Not sure why it isn’t possible, but I’m sure Ranier at the traktorbible would have done it if it was possible.
Good luck! If you figure it out pm me so I can get my LEDs back lol
If you’re using 4 fx units AND the native mapping, you loose one fx assign button per deck as then one unit is now directly assigned to a specific deck. That’s how it works.
You can map a new function to that button (don’t forget to add the modifier shift as shift + those buttons do have a function). The only way to get some led feedback on those buttons is using any volume/phase related outputs, those are the only one that can take over on the native mapping.
Now if you’re using a personal user mapping (ie without the native one), well, you can map everything almost as you want so there’s no issue there.
