I really hate threads like these, but i feel like i, for once, might have to make one for myself.
I’m participating in a remix contest hosted by Sasha, and the winners will be flown to Ibiza to get a week’s worth of mastering workshops.

Just found out they’re only judging the 100 tracks with the most likes… of the 800 submitted tracks.
Great thing they pointed that out before -_-', now everybody who took their time on finishing and polishing their track won’t even get judged.. only the guys who finished their remix 2 hours after the comp opened and spent the rest of the time spamming their rushed remix on FB and twitter.
I agree with you on that judging 800 tracks is a hell of a job, but they didn’t announce the fact that they’d only the judge the top 100 tracks.. that was just noted in the terms and conditions, which is kinda lame.

Just to get back on this. Sasha himself just announced he changed the rules of the competition: he’s gonna listen to all the tracks himself, personally. So every track without a thousand likes has got a proper chance now.
Props to him , he’s got a hell of a job ahead of him listening to the 850 submitted remixes.
