So, this is my setup. I share it with my son and we are, together, 2mankru. We are just starting out and learning the world of controllerism. Hope you like the pics.
Our next purchase is going to be some swedish furniture parts to make a DJ desk.

I am 46 and my son is 20. We had to give up our “father son” hobby, which was racing go-karts, due to financial constraints. That was a lot of fun though. This is my son in his cart about 2 and a half years ago.
And since we wanted to keep up some sort of hobby together, we decided to go with DJing. We’ve been at it for about 10 months now as living room DJs. I wouldn’t even consider ouselves DJs yet. More like wannabe DJs. Our goal is to do our first gig next year.
I joined DJTT about 2 days after we said we’d go with DJing as a hobby. I was looking for a like minded community and found the best right off the bat!

Props to you! I wish that someday I can have that kind of hobby with my kid. I’m 22 right now but already I think that would be extremely cool.
Wow, I must say, you are a great father. I wish i had a father son bonding activity like that with my dad. Maybe one day when I’m the Dad, I can do something like this with my son or daughter. But being as I’m only 15, I’m not going to rush it. Great looking setup too by the way, I am working up to something like that.

Me & my dad share some interest in music to an extent, mainly sound systems, synths & drums..but he never understands djing as i never understand his guitar gears
