Scratch with a Traktor S2
Hi,

I’m can’t do the same on my NI S2, is it possible to do the same?
Do i need to settings somes options on Traktor? (maybe change the mixer? change to “classic”, “p600”,“NUO”, “Xone”, etc…) ??
Or maybe it’s impossible and i need to buy Rellop Beatpad 2 ?

I have a 25 year background in DJing and want to tell you now, no matter what others tell you, YES you can scratch on an S2. I had an S4 for 5 or so years and could scratch on it just as well as any of the high end CDJs. The smaller platters take a little time to get use to if you come from Technics but once you get a feel for it it’s easy. Since your starting off on them it will not be an adjustment. I have several DMC level friends who would be blown away by me scratching on my S4 because I could get all of the same scratches out of a four inch wheel.
People will give you a hard time about scratching on them but just keep practicing until they shut up.
