Searching a controller like Maschine

Hi,
I’m searching for a midi controller like maschine. I need 16 Pads some buttons to navigate and a few knobs to save some FX Combinations like Sweep Effect.
Do you advise MPD32. Does MPD32 have color-coded lights for pads?

Maybe that can fit my needs. I can map Sweep effect to faders but I want physical controls. So QuNeo can’t be my choice.

True - I am. FX and stuff like that isn’t my field as I said before, I’d much prefer to just play a record… Rather than messing around with it constantly… People only want to dance.

This is just my opinion. I just see it as showing off it’s like look what I can do, I can throw in loads of different FX and I have loads of different stuff that does loads of different things. Yes, it’s probably the future of DJing. However, I’m quite fine with my 1’s and 2’s for the time being. Anyway, don’t want to get in to an argument, answer the lads question! :slight_smile:

You can pick up a Maschine Micro mkII or a Full size Maschine MkI with the Maschine software around $300-350 on ebay.

There are bundles of pad controllers on the market, Akai MPD26/32 , Korg Padkontrol, Korg Microkontrol, MPC Studio, M-audio Trigger finger - hell even an F1 if you don’t need velocity.

Google or ebay are not hard to use

Thank you for your answer. Yes I could do more search on google but I’d want to know what djtt members think. I will look into controllers you mention.

In a 5 minutes I found a maschine with custom skin on eBay just for 300$

I am not into producing that much (nowadays). BUT back in the days I was on that MPC shit, and saw recently that “mobile” version of the MPC Its no sampler anymore but controller, maybe I will get it to get into that new century of producing lol
