Yeah I have 6 sp118s and 4 sp2gs. I added the lights in the enclosures to give it a different look and they really get alot of complements! Thanks!

Thanks, I have alot of time invested in making this system look this way! I probably have nearly 100 hours in the speakers and lighting, I custom built boxes to hold all of the amps and a box for all the light switches, but i really have to say its definitely all for the love of music!
Even though they aren’t the latest and greatest in powered speakers, I can tell you’ve invested a lot of love and dedication to your setup. I really do love the way you have setup your speakers.
But the Peaveys do bump!!
I agree the peaveys do bump! I really haven’t found many powered speakers that have the same sound as the non powered speakers. I could just be use to the old ones I have. I don’t know if I am allowed to say this but if you want to see some of the videos and other pics I have check out my Facebook site @ second strike dj service. I really do appreciate the feed back on this forum. It is nice to be able to talk to other DJs!
Yeah, the powered speakers out now are mostly made of plastic. I remember using those peaveys every so often.
And plastic doesn’t have the same tone and sound as a good wooden box!
