Send midi signal from S4 to Roland TR-09

Hi everybody,

I recently bought a Traktor S4 MK2 Controller together with the Roland TR-09 (Boutique series).
I was the video from Ean Golden over and over on how he manages to send the midi signal from his S4 to the Roland TR-08.

I managed to set it up that Traktor receives the midi signal from my TR-09 as slave by ticking the EXT box but it doesn’t work the other way…

I want Traktor the be the MASTER and that the TR-09 follows perfectly in sync. Is there something else in the settings that I need to pay attention to?

Settings in the TR-09?

I have both midi-in and midi-out cables from my S4 to my TR-09.
