I wonder if it is possible to have three different TSI files for the same controller?
I would like to have it like this, because it gives a better overview with 30 mappings in each file, instead of 90 mapping in ONE big file.
Like this:
File 1 consist of mappings M=0 (standard mapping)
File 2 consist of mappings M=1
File 3 consist of mappings M=2
And so on…
Do you know what I mean? It would be like adding three devices in TP for the same controller… but each device has a different modifier like above… Hope you know what I mean…
And another question… Does my modifier M=1 that I use on my Kontrol X1 affect every controllers? Or just the X1?
Why people are asking instead of trying by themselves first??? Too lazy?? Is that bloody hard to create new files with some lines and test?

Yes you can have several tsi for a single controller
yes you can have modifiers inside each of them
yes a modifier can exist in a file and not in another, or the opposite, or exist in several but not with the same name.
As for your last question, I don’t understand when you’re talking about other controllers, do you mean other types of units, others files, what??
But the answer is yes and no it depends on how you mapped the whole stuff, you can have a modifier in your X1 that can influence something in another controller if you added the modifier (it may have a different name) to the other’s tsi using the X1’s midi note
If I have a button mapped to set modifier M=1 on my other controller… Can I use this modifier with my Kontrol X1 too? like a SHIFT-button for X1, but the SHIFT-button is on another controller/device.
Forgot something because I made an assumption: my controllers always haven been linked together so were able to receive midi signals from one to another.
You may need to have to check that and ports.
