Looks cool, although Im not all that impressed by the additional effects which Traktor already has had for a while, my main interest in Serato at this point is to check to see how it interacts with Ableton when the announcement comes out at NAMM. If things really work well with each other, Im sold.

Apparently the guy who posted that video is in deep shit, some DJ who works at a radio station in Los Angeles. I’m sure he can be expecting an email from Serato soon lol.
ok rumor control…I talked to dj ernie and he said it wasnt him. plus he hasnt dj’ed there in years. I could be any of the dj’s from power106 or a whack dj that has a playlist called “power106”
did anyone get to download the video? Either way I’m going to be working pretty close to the serato booth (NAMM) so Ill report the info as soon as i find out
Just cause there’s a “power 106” folder don’t mean nothing. I’m just gonna say there’s a leaked Power106 hard drive out there.
That totally sucks that someone would do that and use his handle at that. Either way if a DJ from that radio station posted that video, I’m sure it will damage their reputation with Serato for future testing. I would say it was a controlled leak to hype up the announcement come Thursday, but since it’s been deleted, seems like it was more like an isolated incident.
If anything it would be the dj that leaked not the radio station that gets in trouble. Power106 was one of the 1st radio stations that adopted Serato for there dj’s. I know that Power106 has is a shared HD that all the dj’s have to have cuz it has radio cuts and exclusive tracks that they have to play. Sometimes the HD gets shared with there “Homies” and those “Homies” share it with there “Homies” and next thing you know all the dj’s in L.A. county are play the same tracks.
