Set up help please

Hey, I can’t seem to get my Omni controller to work? I have downloaded the drivers (before I started). I can get the Traktor LE working, see it on my screen. I have connected as instructed and can get some sound through a home amp and speakers, but I am still having to operate through my laptop…not so much as a shining red light on the controller itself. I went into preferences and set up as per the instuction manual but still dead as a dodo?
I thought maybe I didnt have enough power through the laptop (and would need the power adaptor), but it is a brand new Sony VIO so figured that it would be fine?

Whats the deal???

Would love to hear from someone that can get me up and running, PLEASE.

Have you assigned the Omni as your:
Midi Controller and also Sound card ?

Hi, thanks for the link. I had a look and then tried to assign the controller as it said in the video but in midi setup I just have the two boxes: Midi in and Midi Out. There is also the section that says active and port, but I can’t tick or check anything???
