setting effects to gain knobs

hey guys
i found a mapping that disables the gain knobs and now im just wondering if i can map them so when i push down on the knob it turns on an effect and turning the knob changes the amount of effect
i have no idea where to start to map this or if its even possible so any help would be amazing

Go into mapping find the fx on command you want … Click learn push the knob you want to do the command your mapping and press it in.

Find in the list the fx amount you want to map… Turn the knob you want to use… Do this with as many items as you want then turn off learn.

Pushing the encoder will still reset the gain level, beware.
