Hello DJTT

Very nice video
does the NI Multicore Cable do the same thing?
It’s pretty much the idea behind the multicore cable. Except what he suggests is using the cables from the back of the CD decks instead of fiddling with the back of the mixer.
Hey,
I understand how to make the cables and using the cd players but can someone help me out with the NI Audio 4 or 6 card?
What inputs do I use, could you please tell me, there is very little information.
you use the only inputs the audio 4 has…
welcome to the forum.
The traktor manual and the website have diagrams of how to set up a timecode rig, and I can’t find the video on youtube for you because I don’t have access at work but the Native Instruments channel has a detailed video from a while back on how to set up the audio 8, which is basically the same idea and there might be one for the audio 4 as well.
Brilliant video! Had a thought for doing that exact same thing when I first got TSP but never got round to using timecode out. Definitely going to make a set soon though I think
So Input is for CDJ and Output is for Mixer?
Dude. Think about what the words output and input mean.
So much for advice and help…
ok if you have an audio 4 and TSDuo.
1st fire up TSD and plug the Audio 4.
2nd goto the audio settings and set it to external mixing.
4th Run the rca’s from the left 1200’s or cdjs and plug them into 1/2 IN, then run the rca’s from the right 1200’s or cdjs and plug them into 3/4 IN.
5th Run the rca’s from 1/2 OUT to a LINE 1 on the mixer, 3/4 OUT to LINE 2.
6th. Checks to see if your getting the timecode tone and calibrate the decks.
hope this helps

so much for common sense.
tbh if you need told how to set it up you shouldnt be setting ANYTHING up in a club environment.
Nicely said. It’s always a lovely moment when some twat unplugs a turntable so he can plug in his laptop for his set up next.
get off your high horse, if only everybody treated you the way you’re treating this poor forumer asking an innocent question.
What you on about bro? I just said that people should know what they are doing before attempting to put it into play and I gave an example of the situation. I didnt say it was a bad idea to ask here. It’s a damn good idea if you can’t work it out for whatever reason.
Don’t try and twist my words.
alright fair enough, I thought you were just trying to put him down.
Also, all of this is in the manual that you got with it when you bought it. It’s not just toilet paper included, you know?
I’m a big fan of asking educated questions, but stuff like this is basically common knowledge and described to death in stickies and manuals. Even in quick-starts.
