so, i searched around a bunch and asked a few questions and i thought i would share my map in its current state. for my v1 it seems pretty workable. leds and led rings seem to work well. there’s some space left for future enhancements.
shift+load places the track into the deck and begins play
cue slots are red, then blinking green when loaded, solid when active
play is blinking green in pause state, solid when play
del + cue will delete a cue
set a cue by touching the cue button
load sampl + sampl play loads sample deck c/d from deck a/b
samples are red when empty, blinking green when loaded, solid green when playing
This looks good Shane, nice and clean, not overly complex, I’m definitely going to load this one up to see what I can learn from it on my own version! Thanks for sharing!
thanks graham. for whatever reason, i noticed that my FX 1 On buttons were acting whacky. not sure why, i had to delete them and remap them for them to function correctly again. I noticed I ran into scenarios like this over the past week where mappings would appear to work but then become wonky. all in all, everything should be working pretty good.
if you do run across any issues, please post them here so i can fix them.
the sync function is mapped to the play/pause function…
here’s how i work the deck:
Fader on Deck A down
Load track into Deck A
Deck A starts play on load AND activates sync
Tap cue point to ready track
Release cue point
Bring fader up
I should also mention I work off Master Tempo… so everything - sample decks and track decks are locked to Master Tempo… you can change Mas Tempo by holding shift and turning the knob above the cue volume fader…
