short cable/ latency
i want to cut down some latency, so i bought a 3ft cable, sadly it was the last one
so would it be better to use this cable to connect my controller or my sound card? or does it not make a difference?
I think the sound card cable is the more critical of the two.
thats what i thought, but the signal still has to travel the same distance, right?
erm, the lenght of the cable won’t matter in these dimensions.
what will matter is the signal quality, which I better grant the soundcard than the controller!
the amount of data send to/from the controller is so small in comparison to the huge stream to your soundcard!
While a shorter able can help the quality of the cable is more important than the length of the cable.
yeah, i couldnt find a hi speed one, and i cant get one from here.
