Short USB cables - what is your optimum length?
People have been asking for us to add some short USB cables to the store for a while now…
I wanted to ask the community what size they would find the most useful.
Feel free to comment with any extra information about how you would use your short cable
i find that a high quality usb extension could be good idea as well, that way you are not stuck when you setup changes or when you need that extra bit of length.I also find it hard to get good quality and reliable ones. Just my thought though 
If it’s too long, it’s not a big deal. If it’s too short, you’re screwed.
This, too long has disadvantages, but too short sucks a whole lot more.
I hear you on that, but we could apply the same logic to say there is no need for us to offer short cables as we already offer 1.5m 
If the votes keep trended towards the longest option I’ll do another survey which ranges from .4 to 1 m
I need to connect 3-4 devices (racked up together) to a single USB hub without too much excess cable. 60cm seems just right for my needs.
I’d say a foot and a half would be the minimum length, anything shorter would be good for a hub - and then a longer one to the laptop maybe
