Should I jump on CDJ 850s?
I found an amazing deal (I think 
slight_smile: . Pair of CDJ 850s for 850€. I am going to use it with Traktor or may be with Rekordbox.
Would you buy it for that price? Just askin, cuz I know you guys suprise me sometimes with extremely low prices on CDJs.
Thats just short of £700, seems a good deal to me

And for that price I would jump on them even if they ain’t for you,you could flip them and make a profit
Can you please tell me, how is the waveform in compare to Traktor’s?
My question is a bit silly, but are you able to see sequences clealrly?
I had 2000’s bud, but if your using em with traktor you can just look at your laptop.
The 850s waveform display is like the 1000’s where it just shows the high and low parts of the tune, (should be learning your tunes anyway 
)

great deal! you will love the 850s they are great, and as TommyQuiet said you could use them for a while and if you dont like them then you can sell em for a profit.
i used my 850s with serato via HID, and they worked great!
Id buy and just sell on after if you don’t like them?
Shit. I was too late. 
My resi club just got them, and they do well. probably the most like the 1000s that the new gen has to offer. Compared to traktor the waveform is rudimentary, but you dont buy cdj’s for the waveform(that said, 2000s are pretty good). Add the Usbs w/ rekordbox functionality (also dont expect the complex beatmapping that traktor has), and you have a pretty good unit. If you dont scratch, the basic HID it offers with traktor will work ok (at home i have cdj 900s and use them with HID occasionally without problems). But for that price, they are a higher end/decent set of fully functional cdjs, if that is what your setup requires, get them.
