SimplyRadio.com is looking for Digital DJs for new podcasting section

All DJ Tech Tools People: We are in the process of looking for DJ sets mixed purely on any controller/software based systems. We are by nature a hip-hop station but will be introducing an element of electronic sets starting in the form of pod casts.

Thanks everyone for responding! I will answer all of the above questions here.

The count varies and isn’t exactly calculated across the different servers
currently. We are averaging 1,000-2,000 unique listeners per day. We have a cap on the max listeners for a number of financial reason, but mostly the licensing fees imposed by sound exchange which are on charged on a per listener basis. We also pay ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and then we have the bandwidth to deal with. The website is also doing aprox 500-1000 visits per day.

Currently we do have plans to increase the cap once our new design is operational, we are also going to be providing podcasts as a subscription service on top of the 24/7 stream. This is what I am interested in most for the digital DJ sets.

The station has been around now since 97, when it was 1st launched and is listed inside of Itunes radio directory since it was established. We are available in almost every format
