Sizzling probleme
Hi i use the traktor Kontrol S4 (obviously on traktor pro 2), and when i play some music (mostly the loud stuff) there’s little sizzling.
How to fix this ?
Would it help if i reinstall the software ?
I keep the gain on traktor at -2.5, also make sure your not clipping on the S4
interference or feedback coming from a power adaptor or cables somewhere?
I use the autogain function (so yeah the gain is mostly between -1.5 and 0). I don’t know what is clipping ?
@Jayo: My Traktor kontrol S4 is plugged to my laptop and the power source, that’s all
check the mic gain on the back, mine was doing the same i turned that down and it stopped
The mic gain ? even if there isn’t a mic plugged in? Well i’m gonna try this. Thanks
Oh right, but there is a main gain at the top in the traktor software. I normally keep it a little below 0. And clipping is when the leds on the top of the s4 (the vertical blue ones, top center, near the volume knob) go all the way to the top to the red
or the master meter in the software does.
ok. well i turned down the mic gain behind. I think that i’m going to let the auto gain, cuz even if there’s a little clipping, it’s easier.
